* In first three months in Wichita ratings for my morning show went to #1 in the market.
News Anchor/Reporter BAY NEWS 9 Tampa, FL Aug.1997-Aug.2000
*Anchored 2:30-11:30pm M-F shift, and many nights sat on the set for 7-8 hours straight covering breaking news.
*During hurricanes would adlib for an entire 12 hour shift!
*Went out in the field to cover special assignment reports on weekends, without extra pay.

*Anchored the 5, 6 and 11pm M-F newscasts.
* Reporter and fill in producer.
* While in Tallahassee I also bought my own television camera and gear so I could shoot stories in the middle of the night.
News Anchor/Reporter KCEN-TV Waco, Texas 1991-1995
*Anchored the 6 and 10pm weeknight news, and was a reporter for breaking news events, like the Branch Davidian Stand-off, the Oklahoma City Bombing and the Luby’s Massacre.
*During my time at KCEN I created a weekly series called "Positively Central Texas" that focused on people who were doing positive things in the community.

*Anchored, produced, wrote, edited videotape and was assignment editor for the morning and noon M-F newscasts.
